Brenta Dolomites Brenta Peak route ” Ciavaren “

“Ciavaren,” in the Trento dialect, sounds like hope, but it has nothing to do with that. In reality, the name refers to Cavareno, the village where my climbing partners live.
you could find “Ciavaren,” in the Trento dialect, sounds like hope, but it has nothing to do with that. In reality, the name refers to Cavareno, the village where my climbing partners live.

The route is in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites, opened in a day on September 17, 2020, with a length of 320m and a grade of 6°+. It is located 200m on the right side of Cima Brenta, south face, and it ends at the intersection with this route on a triangular summit.

It starts about 200m to the right of the starting point of the normal route from the south to Cima Brenta. There are a total of 9 rope lengths: the first seven are 30m each, the penultimate is 60m (which can be split into 30m on a ledge), and the last is 20m, where you will find a resin anchor of the normal route from which to descend.
